From 17th May to 24th September 2015 United Airlines will fly from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago to Fiumicino airport in Rome. It still needs the governmental approval.
The flight will be based on: a five-times-a-week service from 17th May to 4th June; a weekly service from 5th June to 18th August; a six-times-a-week from 16th August to 24th September.
Passengers will leave from Chicago at 06:00 p.m. arriving in Rome at 10:30 a.m. the following day. UA planes will take off from Fiumicino airport at 12:45 a.m. and land to O’Hare airport at 04:20 p.m.
This new route will flank the seasonal New York – Venice flight scheduled for 2015.
